it looks crisp, but i'm really only interested in a floater. why they would skip that is beyond my understanding

If they follow their usual pattern, a floater or amphibian will probably be released relatively soon after the wheeled model.

I'd like a model without the belly cargo pod.....fingers crossed. :)

They've been really good about turning out variants lately, so I have every confidence this one'll be no different. I'm waiting for a Cargomaster version, myself.

I believe one of the upgrades that the Grand Caravan offers over the normal Caravan are the belly cargo pods. So, I don't think it would be accurate for Carenado to offer a Grand Caravan without them.

Cheers,

Ken

I think that the pod's optional, Ken....according to http://www.cessna.com/caravan/grand-caravan.html

With up to 340 cubic feet (9.6 m3) of cabin space, you can carry up to 12 passengers (depending on local regulations), a mountain of cargo or a healthy combination of both. In fact, with the Grand Caravan’s optional cargo pod, you gain an additional 1,000 pounds (454 kg) of easy-to-access cargo/storage capacity within the 111.5 cubic foot (3.2 m3) pod.

I think I going to breakdown and finally buy a Carenado Aircraft; especially, since the "FAA" is endorsing it.http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/images/icons/icon10.gif The Seneca, Bonanza, and the Caravan are now on my list...

OK, I'll give you a hug, "euroastar350" :wavey:; the FAA has always been nice to me. :engel016:

Thank you very much.
