What is this...I don't even?

This is actually a really good business move for Valve in my opinion. I don't think the full game library is available, but this is an improvement over the previous 0 games for Apple.

Also, in celebration, Valve is giving away Portal for free until May 24th.

If you don't already have it, this game is super fun.

So where's COD, Counterstrike, and L4D? You know, games that people actually play?

They've got a looooooooooooooong ways to go... :173go1:

Portal is wildly popular, although it is short. If portal is coming out on mac, then I would think the half-life stuff will be too since it is the same engine (I believe). Certainly they seem to think that the market is big enough to test the waters. It's a first step and better than nothing!

Tho I don't and won't use Steam, at least it's a start for gaming on Macs without being tied to Windows in some way. If nothing else, ya gotta at least give them credit for that.

Same engine.

If you haven't played it yet, go and grab Portal. It's awesome beyond limits!

PC gamers are SO lazy with their TWO portals. :icon_lol: (that would be me too)

They've added all the episodes of Half-Life 2 now. Looks like they're getting serious about this.
