My vote is to satisfy pure self-gratification at the expense of what is fair to all the kids who are legitimately allowed to compete by the rules.

Unfortunately, there is a far larger issue within Haiti. There have been many cases of falsification of birth certificates by officials of the Haitian government. Considering the many significant issues decided by age, this is a serious problem. It seems it is extremely easy for someone to get a completely fraudulent birth certificate from government officials within Haiti.

In a word, Chutzpah! It's really the school that takes it in the neck. Could well forfeit all games he played in. (Nope, I'm not Jewish. But the word really does describe the situation.)
