You know, I would suggest that they had an approved profile and a low-level demonstration waiver, but I don't think they intended to get the wing that close in the first video. This looks liks plain crappy flying to me.

Good post!! :salute:

Yes, I agree. They probably did have a waiver but more than once in their passes, they took pretty serious chances that almost went wrong. That first turn to the left with the wingtip coming so close to the ground was one, the other was that on the downwind they appear to have banked too steeply and slipped and sank dangerously. The next gear down pass and final bank/turn over the runway yielded another dangerous slip/sink. I'm not familiar with the A310 but I am the 320 series. However, I am willing to bet that they exceeded a few margins and set off GPWS/Bank Angle/Sink Rate Warnings bigtime!

Well, thank goodness it WAS "wreckless!"

It was -IMHO at least- most certainly reckless... :ernae:

All growing up, I was always reading and studying. Couple reading with always having to pound out a word document, and I used to have nearly flawless spelling. The last few years on message boards has destroyed it. :mixedsmi:
