Holy smokes! That looks magnificent.

Think I'll tour all the old Italian colonies in North and East Africa in it. I've enjoyed touring Italy, Spain and the Balkans in your previous airplanes.

I must say that I never heard very glossy comments on the actual Breda and consequently probably would not have cared much to have it into my virtual hangar ( a bit like the Koolhoven FK58), now... looking at your amazing work I've reconsidered... entirely!!

Many thanks and sincere congratulations!

Hi Manuele !

I´m testfly your Breda Ba.65 in my FSX+accelerator.

All look fine. A small issue: the attitude indicator stop working after a couple of seconds.

It´s sink to locket posision and a little red indicator shows.

Hi DennyBoy,

Your FSXA bug report may ultimately need to be addressed and solved by other FSXA users. However if FSXA failed to write the code below to the aircraft.cfg, as it autoconverted the FS9 code for FSXA compatibility, you should add it manually to the bottom of the FSXA aircraft.cfg

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

[vacuum_system]
max_pressure=3
vacuum_type=1

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

If that code is already present after Microsoft autoconversion you should check that you do not have vacuum = suction pump failures enabled by default somewhere inside FSXA, (unless you wish to suffer the consequences).

>

Manuele, thank you for your kind words. Understanding the Ba 65, and making it capable of duplicating the real world combat and non combat procedures, (fully described and illustrated within 'How to survive flying the Ba 65.htm'), was certainly complicated.

However delivering that extensive training opportunity to flight simulation enthusiasts always depended on your ability to create a very detailed, accurate and functional 3D simulation control interface. Without the realistic 3D training environment you managed to create flight simulation enthusiasts would not have the opportunity to learn and demonstrate skilled compliance with a host of real world vintage era pilotage procedures in a virtual environment.

In addition to FSAviator's suggestions, you might also try changing the attitude indicator's drive from vacuum to electric.
1 = Vacuum driven gyro
2 = Electrically driven gyro

Edit the Aircraft.cfg as follows...

[attitude_indicators]
attitude_indicator.0=2

I don't know why the Breda's vacuum driven attitude indicator does not work in FSX, but consider this a work-around until someone figures it out. Hope this helps.

It was a long wait Manuele, but the model is definitely worth the time! I really love it!

For me the two best things are the incredible VC and as I'm an engine man........

Thanks again to all involved and especially Manuele of course!

I've only had a little time to test the Breda in circuit around a small region airport. That's enough to impress me how beautiful a rendering this model is. Superb in every way, I'm looking forward to booking off some meaningful time and really exploring this wonderful gift.

Manuele and FSAviator, thank you!

Hi Friends,
Sorry, I made a little mistake in the texturing.
Actually the engine's rods aren't textured because I deleted a bmp from the common textures folder.
To solve the problem You must make a copy of the "base.bmp" renaming it "met.bmp", then You must copy "met.bmp" in ALL the texture folders.
