Had to alert ya'll on this bargain... The Saitek X52 is on sale at Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00030GSJY?ie=UTF8&tag=datkinnet-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00030GSJY) for just $66.98!

I have the Pro version and love it. The X52's not quite as fancy, but is less than half the price with this sale.

That's very tempting.....My previous experiences with them haven't been good. Their rudder pedals are garbage and hard to setup.

I've had an X52 Pro for the last three years, and it's held up brilliantly. I actually used the stick for quite some time without even installing the software (FSX doesn't seem to notice), and setup takes about 2 minutes.

Despite pretty heavy use, the only visible wear on my X52 is some minor paint wear, and the centering spring shows absolutely no signs of wear at all.

The only problem I had with the hardware was one of the hat switches stopped working about 3 months after I bought it, but Saitek replaced the entire system for free under warranty (I did pay about $10 to ship the bad stick back to them).

Saitek's support was amazingly helpful, without the usual "is it plugged it?, did you try rebooting the PC?" BS, and I received a brand new replacement X52 just over a week after shipping the defective one back to them.

Thats almost worth it just to get them for a backup unit cause that is what I have currently used for nearly 4 years now.. As far as the rudder pedals go they are very sturdy. I will agree they were hard to set up (had to reverse the brake controls in the game), but after that they have been flawless ever since.
