IMO the Spitfire is definately one of the most beautiful 'shapes' in the sky. Just pure beautiful craftsmanship, simplicity with power, functionality, and lethality to boot. The mk IX is my favorite too. The griffon powered bird is nice and fast but the IX has that agility, like a classic British roadster. Also quite a stable cruiser too. It trims quite nicely and flies smoothly from point A to B. Lol reminds me of that discussion about having original equipment or having some modern nav gauges, I like both depending on the mood but it sure is fun to hone your VOR navigation skills in a Spifire. :) Sometime I wish she had a landing light to make night flying easier but I guess she is such a beauty in the air she must be flown in the daylight to be seen from below. I do hope Rob and Sean find time down the road to expand features on this bird. I would love to see some 'accusim'ish features such as wind noise with the canopy open and a moody engine that can be pleasant or cranky on startup based on temperatures.

Cheers
TJ

Great pics...I posted a thread earlier about one of the Spits ("F-LA") you have pictured above.
