ahhh, I like this sailing ship´s, it´s that kind of ship my grandfather started work in the middle of the twenties last century. My grandfather was at last captain of the Carl Vinnen, a large german sailing ship. The ship was interned in cartagena Spain during the war. My granddad survived the war and was at last captain on large motor cargo ship´s.

here ar a few pic´s of Carl Vinnen, taken on the last trip before war.

Nice.........I am not to sure..but....It looks a bit like the " Bluenose " from here in Canada...or I should say " Bluenose II "...

being a landlubber....I couldn't tell you if the two ships have the same dimentions.....one may be Bigger than the other...for all I know...

as the guys in the TV " Hemi " ad would say......" SWEET "....

Hi Bruno,

Thanks for the wonderful sailing ship again, I had only one request, can you make a MDL of the ship without sails and no moving action, -for port scenery’s?

That is one pretty chick! Nicely done Bruno!

I took this photo of another square foretopsail schooner passing "Neptune's finger" off of Cabo San Lucas a few years back! Sadly, her topsails weren't flying, though.

Reminds me of the Kiwi in The Wackiest Ship in the Army from years back.
