maxstuka,
I based my MiG-3 on the info in this website:
http://mig3.sovietwarplanes.com/mig3/engineam35a.html
They seem very through. 1200 hp normal, 1325 hp war emergency.

Cheers Thicko

Thanks! if your model has the AM-35A WHAT engine has in the picture 1ª?

Gerald Lindell MODEL: This was the second version of the MiG series and was used from 1941 until the end of WWII

Powerplant:
Mikulin AM-25A, 1,350 hp 12-cylinder Inline Vee, Liquid cooled.

There are 2 models with diferent ingine, I don`t knot the engine of the firt image, but geral lindell say, the was the second version!

The true is the 2 models, have diferents engine!

Here' some info about the Mig-3U. Only 10 were built.

http://www.aviastar.org/air/russia/mig_i-230.php

All Mig 3 used the same AM-35A engine, only the exhaust system was changed.
