Now that is hysterical!

A couple years ago, I rented the complete DVD set of all the McHale's Navy episodes from NETFLIX.

Loved that show.

Tim Conway was so funny.......

For whatever reason they don't have the first season up anymore, but the rest of the series is still on Hulu:

Ah yes, back in the days of three to four total TV channels. This pretty much meant anything on TV had a lot of talent behind it.

The cast of McHale's Navy was truly all-star in talent. I loved those shows!

Radioman ....Willy Moss

Who's real name is John Wright but went by Bobby Wright is the son of the Country Music Duo Johnny Wright and Kitty Wells.

Johnny Wright is recently noted for ......."Hello Vietnam"

So ...Bobby Wright ...aka Willy Moss, has some music background and is the one singing the falsetto lead in the back.

I've been trying to figure out if he just made up those lyrics for the blopper.......or if that is a song from the period he is imitating........???

I don't recognize it........but every doo wop song had a ..."I love you baby" ...or "baby please don't go".....

Those were the days except when the "sun spots" arrived and screwed things up for a week or so...

Days long gone...

A classic "after school" show.

Our local classic TV station runs George Burns,Jack Benny, Phil Silvers, and McHale's Navy back to back in the early hours of the morning. Sometimes it's just worth losing sleep to see them!

Baby please don't go.................

This must be a phase or emotion suffered through out the history of mankind................

However, recorded music history looks to date back to Big Joe Williams.......a very early blues 1935

Obviously......it has been recorded ........in alot of different formats........modified....etc.....

I believe I have found a version that was being sung in the Mchale's Navy Blooper 1962 -1963

Fats Domino 1953 R&B
