Just wondering if anyone has a quick reference to adding some more AI to Odessa.
I have what's available at WOAI but I'm sure the Russian AI guys have more.

It's all about that Beriev...

Just a final :bump: in case one of our East European experts missed the post...

I don't remember how much of RATS Traffic flies to Odessa, but here it is all: http://trafficsystem.ru/eng/main.php

Edit: Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odessa_International_Airport you can find the airline companies that operate on UKOO and here: http://worldoftraffic.de.ki/ is more European traffic (a little bit old flightplans).

That's all I need!
Thank you Pekka, I hoped you would come to the rescue :d
My Russian is not all that fluent, so...

EDIT: Not that you need language skills these days - Google identified the site as Russian, and offered to translate it.
And it followed on, automatically translating linked pages too!

WOAI is pretty good, they already had most airlines covered.
I only managed to add Rossiya from RATS, and so have Odessa covered.
Thanks again.

I've assembled a bit of AI in my time, and know there are 149 ways of screwing it up.
After a couple of days of manually fighting the RATS AI, I am again reminded of how blessed we are with the likes of the WOAI installer system.
One click, and you are presented with an entire airline, complete with models, repaints and flightplans.
I set out to install one last element of AI for Odessa, having done the rest with WOAI.
Turns out, after first installing the entire airline by hand, that there is only one Rossiya flight into Odessa :p:
It is one of my favourite airliners - the Tu-154M - so here it is, along with some general Odessa shots, all to give that Beriev a little company...

Have you ever used the MRAI-installer? It's a kind of semi-automatic one. First you install aircrafts manually and then use that installer which does the job more or less automatically. there is included also a qualifier program that checks that the aircraft.cfg-files are ok (I think it's the same program as ACA2007 light - a very handy program for that). RATS-files can be installed with that.

The good part of that program is that you can use any aircraft in flightplans if you don't have just the proper one (that's why the AI-aircrafts is better to install in advance). There is also a RATS-installer, but I have never used that.

Edit: One can download the MRAI-installer here: http://aifs2.pvdveen.net/?page_id=5

The MRAI installer was part of the problem, as it generated an aircraft text file that did not correspond with the various aircraft.cfg files!
(It did point out all the horrible things I've recently done to the aircraft in my flightsim though - no textures, missing air files etc)
I normally use ACA2005 but clearly should run it more often!

I may have created a problem for myself, as I manually added [fltsm x] entries into WOAI installed planes.
I'm not sure what their installer will do, next time I add an airline...

But despite the problems, I do enjoy having some exotic AI which is not the usual British Airways or other Western airline.

Thanks for your input!

I use ACA2007 light and have found out that it is a very useful program. Manually working I'd be lost with my (about) 2000 planes.

I have added [fltsim xx] entries (and paints) into WOAI planes for years and didn't notice any problems in that. WOAI installer adds those entries at the end of the file and if you forget that and add your own at the beginning you are asking troubles (with duplicate numbers).

OK that's good to know, thanks.
I wasn't sure if WOAI actually read the last [fltsim] number in the file, or somehow remembered what the installer last added.

Heh, now that you mention it, I had a look.
It's all AI... :d
