Seems like the original thread of November 2009 is gone (?), so I allow to open a new one:
Maarten was so kind to upgrade my previous repaint of the Buffalo rendition of the CL215 to fit Massimo's V3 model version, infamously released just a few days after I've uploaded my repaint on the older model.
Here it is:
FS2004 (ACOF) - FS2004 Other Aircraft FS2004 Buffalo Airways CL215

http://flightsim.com/p/cl215v3_buff298.gif FS2004 Buffalo Airways CL215, v3 model. Upgraded repaint for the Canadair CL215 water bomber, depicting Buffalo Airways C-FTXB. These are texture files only. Prior installation of Massimo Taccoli's CL215 version 3 (215FS9_V3UP.ZIP (http://flightsim.com/file.php?cm=SEARCH1&fsec=0&fname=215FS9_V3UP.ZIP)) is required. Minor upgrade of previous Buffalo repaint to use it on Massimo's v3 model. Texture adjustments by Maarten Brouwer. By Markus Hellwig.
Thank you, Maarten! :wavey:

Hi Markus,
The pleasure is all mine. :)
Cheers,
Maarten
BTW, for those whose who aren't familiar yet with the "Scooper" or, like me , like the beast and love the song of the engines, here are some links to various clips featuring the CL-215. Quite spectacular is the footage of Spanish CL-215's scooping up water during the fires of Sabugal, Portugal, in September 2009.

Not to mention that C-FTXB is prominently featured flying across the Atlantic (being delivered to Turkey) in the TV series Ice Pilots NWT. You can view the videos here:
http://www.willflyforfree.com/?page_id=32
You can go direct to each of the videos via the number links just below the video screen.
It appears the CL-215's enter the series around Episode 5, but the rest of the episodes are worth watching.
Hope this helps,
Tom Gibson

Wow! Thanks Tom!
I was looking for a site to watch the series. I thought it was broadcast in Holland too, but I turned out to mistaken.
Now I can see it after all. Happy Days!
Cheers,
Maarten

Episodes are also available here: http://www.history.ca/video/default.aspx
[Edit] Hmm... or not. The placeholders are there but the episodes are "not currently available."

Now that's awesome! :jump:
I thought I'd never had the chance to watch this show everybody else is talking about...
Just spent 2:30 hours downloading all the episodes to have them stored on my HD (now that's 2,33 GB of sheer aviation madness, as far as I can see right now!)
Thank you so much for this HU, Tom!
You made my day!
Cheers,
Markus.

As someone who almost never watches television, Ice Pilots NWT is seriously addictive TV!

Well done guys, it is a great model, and a super paint - what a clean plane! :d

I still could not get it to take off from water.
(The lake elevation of 1500ft might have something to do with that)
So I just commented out the external tanks, and all is well.

OK, another site has appeared.

Click on the Episode 1 forum link, then on Method #1. Let IE download the DVX player (if needed) and you should be good to go. If it goes back to the original screen, click on Method #1 again. It will eventually play. :)
Hope this helps,
