...After a "payware-diet" and passing on many new payware releases recently I decided to treat myself a little this weekend. It was on my list for too long to neglect it any further...

Great fun on a stormy rainy sunday!

Hoi Rob,

first impressions include a great flight modell, lots of fun and this thing just does not want to land no matter how slow you go. Very tricky! Great modelling, too, eyecandy!

I also like the historically based "missions" and they are not FSX-missions. The landing zone lights are easy to spot, but the real trouble is even getting close enough to find them. The included flightplans help, but have some peculiarities. When chosen and loaded as a flight it puts you at the landing zone not on the airfield you start from... So some own flightplanning is needed, which is o.k. for me, cause it adds to the immersion factor of the great mission-briefings in the manual. But still strange.

The only thing really troubling me is the fuel management. On a mission with the belly tank the engine just cuts out when the tank is empty. Before crashing I frentically tried to find a fueltank-selector. Found none, and none mentioned in the manual. You have to go to your payloadmanager, fill up the tank manually, and substract the amount of fuel used from the fuel amount which can actually be found as payload-entry... Maybe I overlooked something, but this is so far the only downside for me.

But the thing is too much fun to fly!
