Yipee, I can finally say what was so secret at Area 51!

A squadron of Russian-built aircraft operating for the USAF!

Boy, that's such a let down. The conspiracy theories were so much better! :icon_lol:

Personally, I'd far rather have a Mach 18 fighter-bomber, reconnaisance aircraft, capable of side trips to Mars and back.

BTW: Is that an actual aircraft you've modeled? I'm not familiar with it.

Ken:
That is actually a Lockheed-Boeing A/F-X, the "stealth" successor (or so was planned) of the F-14, that was supposed to be ready by the time the also ill-fated A-12 "Flying Dorito" started fleet operations(around..humm..now?).

Very nice Mr. "Prowler!"

I remember the concept design phase of this, I though it was dropped; looks like you've resurrected it again.:applause:

Nice work Prowler.

In the top view down, wings folded back in the design drawings, it reminds me a bit of the Talon's from the movie Stealth, how they integrated the elevators with the wings when the wings were folded in for Super Sonic modes. (The Talons faced the other way of course, Canard design).

Yay, my model is starting to look nice in FSX! Is there any chance you'll get the normal/spec maps on it?

Nice rendition, but the nose section of the original model looks way too ugly to make it appealing to me. Seriously, why couldn't they just take the whole section from a F-22 and just stick a second seat in there?
