I am using the pactex package with the included water textures.

Nothing makes a wake...what am I missing?

Answer: How wakes work. :ernae:

Wakes are Effects called-up in the DP files of individual ships. They are unrelated to which 'texture-of-the-week' you are using for the water.

As you can see below in the [EXTRAS] section the Effect fx_wake_s is being called to appear at 0 meters l/r of CG, 0 meters h/l of CG and 21 meters forward of CG.

If you are not seeing wakes, make sure that you have them specified in your DP, and then that they are properly positioned. For example, you might not have any effect specified, the effect specified may not be in your Effects folder or the effect may be positioned improperly for viewing in your water 'texture-of-the-week'....i.e. the wake may be below the surface of this particular texture. :wavey:
