My PC which I bought in 2003 finally died, there were problems with it, I have had it in for repairs over the years, and I have decided that I do not want to spend more money just to keep an old machine running. All I require is an off the shelf PC at Best Buy that will run FS2004 very good. I do not know anything about all these new PCs with all this quad core things. Please tell me what PC I can buy (HP, ect.,) with a very good graphics card. I just want to run FS2004 very good. Thank You All For any help.

Cheers

A little sage advise when asking what computer to buy. Folks will likely tell you some really good stuff, that is they will often say what they would get if they could on the next upgrade. No harm is intended but it's hard to say 'what I have now does the trick' because they want you to have something awsome.
My specs below enable me to run FS9 smoothly 99% of the time, slowing only over some dense custom or hi-res sceneries. But good meshes no problem, HDE clouds were a huge improvement, and some day I'll upgrade the processor. But I enjoy what I have for about $750 off the shelf a couple of years ago (graphics card was added later $75).

Good luck shopping.
