I guess someone is TDY from the TDY. :) If you can, get you and your camera to western Wyoming. Beautiful isn't a good enough word to describe it.

What do you mean nasty tasting. I grew up in Western Wyoming and we used to hunt them every year. It all depends on how it is prepared.

I tried one that lived in the wheat fields in central Montana all of it's life as well.
Bleah, still too gamey for my taste, I don't care how well prepared. :icon_lol:
But that's the way my taste buds are. Lot of stuff is too gamey tasting for me.
Or, I'm one of those spoiled Elk/Bison meat kinda guys I guess. :wavey:

Well, that's silly - Buffalo is in the east, at the end of Lake Erie

:173go1: Bison meat is good. I grew up eating wild game, and there were a lot of people that I know felt it all tasted gamey, and wouldn't eat it. When my parents prepared it, they didn't know the difference and enjoyed it. My sister is one of those that will say she doesn't like wild game meat, but when told after the fact, loved it.
