Windy day and airplanes

With gusts over 70 mph there was some damage in the valley. The slide show has a few pictures of the affects on planes including some damage.

While looking at those photos of severe Alaskan winds, I couldn't help thinking "don't those folks know that it's not illegal to move to Florida ...?"

Florida isn't much warmer ATM Toastie! LOL! Although they're predicting that today is supposed to be the last day of frigid below freezing temps for us for a bit.

Wouldn't exactly be escaping the winds either at times

It Blows like that in West Texas just not as cold.
