Hi All,
While noodling around at FlightSim today I noticed there's a new environmental package out for FS9. SceneryPRO-HD Environment 2010. The price is right....$14.95,....17MB's.
I'm pretty pleased with the various enhanced add-ons I've installed over the years,...but I was wondering:
Has anyone purchased it yet,...and what is your opinion?

Right now I'm walking the fence and not sure which way to flip flop.

If I remember correctly, this package was mentioned on a recent edition of FSBreak. I think they said it was OK, for the price. It just doesn't look as good, or have as many features, as the more expensive REX.

Looking at the screenshots the clouds are pretty good - but there's excellent freeware already.
I'm not fond of water that tries to do cloud reflections in FS9...so wouldn't go for that.
Trees, runways, environment map...all available as freeware.
Probably time to buy all the payware, install all the freeware, and compare one on one.
I already use 3...no 4... make that 5 different texture sources, some free, some payware.
I'm almost satisfied, most of the time ;)
