Um, i confess my noobness... now that is off my chest, how do i get a seaplane to the water? I am trying to explore some great IJN planes i found on Japanese sites, but cant get to the water so they can take off...

I though we could move the plane icon on the map as in FS, but i guess not..or i dont know how. Not all sceneries have water start locations ...and i wanted to ehance my IJN seaplane assets and add base ships etc. hints very welcome. My IJN pilots are laughing at me.

Yep i got the far east one and i use Maskrider's Japan. thanks

i appreciate the suggestion tho.

I just wondered if there is a easy way to move a plane or have an air start to a base i already have installed that did not come with a water start point.

CrisGer,
To airstart, just select your airfield in free flight, then move your cursor to the right and click the radio button. Move down to "height" and type in the elevation (say 1000'), then press OK and start flying. You can use existing seaplane missions or make your own using water start missions using one of the considerable number of Sea Plane bases for the Pacific, CBI, MTO or ETO.
cheers,
Mike
