The picture of Serenity about half way down is from the game X3-Terran Conflict. That screenshot is 'in-game'. They have a Serenity addon for the game now. Thought you might like to know.


The game has Hyper Jump in it and about 400 warp gates to find.

!@#$%&*!!!!! I need a new computer!!!

Between FS9, Strike Fighters, R Factor, Sim City 4 and all their addons (Especially FS9) I have no room on my system for another game!

I've been poking my head into the X-3 thread from time to time and thought, "Too bad there isn't a Serenity addon for this."

Guess that answers my question :jump:

Maaaan, Karen and I sure miss firefly... now we just get our jollies watching episodes of 'castle' on the TV... at least Nathan has taken certain elements of his Firefly character with him... lol, still makes me chuckle at times.

I'm still in the Firefly mode too... Even in FSDS.

I found a few cool renders online of some Firefly/Serenity ships

I also did a 'Verse styled ship in FSDS for a continuing Firefly Fanfic I've been writing for the last 2 years.

Go on Hulu and watch the last 6 episodes of Dollhouse. You's see Summer Glau (River Tam) as a geeky and evil scientist with Aspergers and Alan Tudyk (Wash) as a Psyco Serial killer with Dollhouse induced multiple personality disorder.

And Morena is on "V" (Along with Alan) And for some reason, Maj. John Casey is like a smart Jayne Cobb on Chuck....

Some cool model work Brian. Very nice. I like that mean looking thing at the bottom. Heavy Cruiser?


I am just learning the route for installing ships into X3 with Gmax. Right now, I am having issues with the model compiling into BOD format. Not exporting for some reason.


Some of the stock textures in this package are just danged amazing... And I mean 'DANG' amazing.. Bump maps, spec's, occular.. I am just re-using them and attaching them to parts I am making. They have 'tech sheets' that you can map to huge area's on craft, and they have light maps and everything built into them.. . Window rows, etc...

The bottom ship is the Alliance Longbow Destroyer from the movie Serenity. Along with the ASREV Gunships from the series. I found those online as the modeling is much nicer than I can do.

The Heracles is my work and the Firefly for FS8/9 is one I found on Flightsim.com.

There's also a Firefly for Orbiter. Might be a bit better suited for your PC than X3, Brian.
