Is there any way to remove the cockpit reflections from an aircraft in FSX?

You can locate the graphic file from which the reflection is made and alter it to solid black. The file should be located in the plane's texture folder. You'll need a program that can open the extended bmp or dds files and a graphics program.

Exactely.
However, instead of solid black, I would recommend a very dark grey, which will make the glass not completely transparent.
Those reflections are a bit too strong, but they look nice. If you remove them completely (by setting the glass to total transparency with a solid black alpha channel), you will get a cockpit with no glass at all, which doesn't look so realistic at all.
By setting the alpha channel to a dark grey, the reflections will still be there, but they won't harm your vision as much as before, and the glass will still look consistent.
