I installed a GTX 295 card and updated the latest video drivers on my computer. Everything seemed to run great until I selected the external view. I can now only see the transparencies and lights of the available aircraft in my hangar. Anyone have any suggestions as to the culprit or cause? Thanks

Matt

Do you have SP1 installed?

DJscoo,

I do have SP1 installed. I didn't have these issues until I installed the GTX295, so will start looking at what I have done thus far. I also had nhancer installed but it conflicted with the Nvidia software to overclock the GPU and onboard memory.

Thanks,
Matt

I installed the latest from Nvidia. Does overclocking the GPU cause any skins to disappear? I would assume it ust bumps the refresh rate and generate quicker.

Also, have AA and AS on as well. Anyway, will continue to plod through and tweak, as well as hoping someone else has encountered and resolved this similarly.

Normally not.

By the way: Do you have only SP1 installed? Or SP2 as well? In the first case, was the aircraft made for SP2?

The proper question would be: you DO have FSX SP2 (or Acceleration) installed, don't you !?
