That thing looks like its nearly done! Very nicely modeled.
Thanks for the heads up Ryan.

Yea, looks like a very nicely modeled aircraft. Cruise speed of only 118 will keep me out of the loop though. I have several others that are around that speed and I rarely fly them, too slow.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!
:jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop:
I've been wanting one of these for quite some time. And it says on the top... "one of the current planes we are doing with cessna". I wonder what else they're hiding? :173go1:

I guess that they gave into Cessna's extortionate licensing prices? :kilroy:
It does look good, though :ernae:

Same here, just to slow for my tastes. great looking aircraft though.
Wonder what the pricing will be like with the Cessna licensing.
I still wish they would take the old cessna 421, slap some new textures/bumps/specs on it, rework the animations and run it thru the FSX compiler, would make me happy!

Considering they already did the Mustang, I'm sure they'd rather be partnered with Cessna than not - good advertising, especially for real pilots who may own the acft and want to fly it on their PC's. Just the other day I had a real pilot friend sit down with me and fly the mustang, he was very impressed with the G1000 simulation.

Maybe just plop the G1000 from the Mustang into a 172 or 182 or even a Caravan?

Not quite the same... I've been wanting a good LSA since they created that class of planes a few years back.
What I'd really like is a good Ikarus C42, but the Skycatcher is great as well.
A modern G1000'ed C206 would be out of this world, as well as a C172 G1000 trainer.

Oh yes I forgot about the 206, that would be nice..yes I guess that a lot changes need to be made from the Mustang's G1000 to a G1000 in other Cessnas.

heck, if we're talking cool cessnas, nothing would be cooler than a nice 337 for fsx. fsd seems to have no intention of offering one.
considering how cool the flight one p-38 is, (just got that last night) i would be on it like a spider monkey

Ohh they are doing a 182 with a G1000! :ernae:
Another possibile G1000 Cessna would be the Cessna Corvalis (ex Columbia 400)

I'm going to faint if they keep this up.
Finally there will be some modern GA planes for FSX! :jump::jump::jump:

don't faint around these guys, what ever you do. the ones who rifle your pockets are the harmless ones. it's the others that should cause concern....:icon_lol:

Blame your politicians, not Cessna.

Hi Cody,
U.S. corporations and politicians are pretty much one and the same these days. Last post by me in this thread.
LouP out (here anyway) :wavey:

That is not 100% accurate. For the Mustang for example, we worked with Cessna directly in engineering this product, and there is a certain participation level of Cessna involved.
See http://www.cessna.com/citation/mustang.html for example.
I just wanted to clarify this as some of the statements made were not completely accurate.

Thanks for clarifying that point,Steve.:):ernae:
It would be nice if Cessna would also consider joining forces with FS developers who wish to recreate some of their older aircraft designs;)
