I took the plunge. As soon as I saw it was released,(ouch) I hesitantly hurried to grab my plastic (ouch) funny money. I bought FS Global 2010. I forgot all about it until my wife got home from work. "Honey..she says. You got a package in the mail." She handed it to me as I had a somewhat bewildered (HUH) look on my face. It was a package from Sim Market. All neatly wrapped up. That's when I realized what it was. I tore that package open faster than a excited kid during Christmas!! :icon_lol:

I'm still installing it. It's been almost 2 hours..with a long ways to go yet.

There went $120.00 plus change :isadizzy::pop4:

I can't wait for it to install to see what the world looks like from above now :santahat:

Now comes the question of where things should be in the ladder of sequence in the scenery library.

I've got these things installed already

Ultimate Terrain Canada & Alaska
Ground Environment Pro
Fly Tampa KSEA - Seattle
A multitude of different airports throughout the Pacific Northwest
A scenery object library
Plus all the default scenery and stuff
FS Global 2010 ----Currently installing
------------------------------------------

What order, if any, do I need to pay attention to?

Help is appreciated very much.

Well, the installation continues. I got too tired and went to bed. So much for having a quick start-up of the flight simulator...lol.

No one can give any assistance to the order of things

That's mind boggling :isadizzy:

I don't have FS Global, but i think it's mesh, like FS Genesis right? If so, you don't need to worry about the install order.

None of the above conflict with each other. But load order wise, it should be something like:

- Mesh (FS Global or FS Genesis)
- Airports (KSEA)
- Any patch between KSEA and those PNW airports
- PNW Airports
- Scenery Objects
- UT Canada & Alaska
- Default stuff

GE Pro is just textures; it only over-writes the default stuff. You can install this at any time.

Wait, I thought mesh was underneath anything added... Don't want nice ridge-lines covering KSEA, do you?

I could be wrong though... I haven't loaded FS in a while.

there is a bug in the FS9 scenery, and Mesh priority is reversed.

So if you have 100 sceneries installed, the Mesh folder should be #100. #99 can be higher res mesh.
