But first take a look at that flag!:icon_lol:

Great work Collin. Any chance that we might see HMS Vanguard on the high seas?

wonderful, it is great to have some really good transports...convoys, invasions, harbour scenes, shipping attacks, coastal actions, landings, so many possiblities.... one of those is very much like some of the transports used in the Aleutans actions....and also Torch...

But first take a look at that flag!:icon_lol:

There's 3 nationalities available, Italian, Brit and USA. And before you ask, many liners pressed into service in the Brit navy had sufficient number of crew who were RN reservists for the ship to fly the 'blue duster'

Hmmmm.....in your lifetime? Not sure, between eating, sleeping, and playing Blitzkrieg, I have very little time left for such esoteric poly machinations.:icon_lol:

Besides, the workforce is off on its xmas hols with just a few left to finish the RFA model.:icon_lol:

Dunno....Had to go back to the drawing board, completely new hull with rudder, armour belt and anchor recesses, still not happy about the latter or the gun turrets.:kilroy:

Thanks, but I knew this was coming. Collin and I are part of "Dirty's Dozen," we keep in contact on Skpye typically a few to several times a week. :santahat:

The tanker is looking nice. My poor Ground Crew tanker has been sunk so many times it won't stay afloat anymore and needs some relief!

Guys, it was Tango Romeo who transposed the parts to make the majority of the new models, so cuedo's to him.:ernae:

The oiler has now got its derricks and some gun platforms, some old parts needed to be retextured, soon be finished.

what a lovely tanker! cant wait to add that to the fleet. They were such an important element of so many campaigns and theatres...Atlantic Convoy, Med Convoys, fleet train and so much more.

Well she has been launched and is waiting at the fitting-out yard for her new .dp file.

She won't be a pushover, she has 4 twin 40mm's and 4 20mm's to cream you with if'n you try to get fresh with her.

Now there are two version 2 fleet oilers up at Collin's Shipyard.

We're rolling in new tankers. With all the soon to be lost cyber tonnage and barrels of crude and refined avgas in the CFS 2 oceans, we're set for an ecological disaster!

The generic WWII Armed Fleet Oiler "AO" is spot on covering a hole host of US classes :ernae::ernae::ernae:

http://www.navsource.org/archives/09/19/19087.htm

did a "dp" for a late war ship. NOT fun to fly against, she cares 4-3"/50's DP, 2-40mm Twin's, 12-20mm MG's & 1-5"/38 DP. After getting close enough to view on-board gun lay out, a "new dp" is in order to match the lay out :isadizzy:

The new dp well carry 2-5"/38 DP's, 2-3"/50 DP's, & 4-20mm MG Twin's. This should back date her to 1942-mid 1943 :isadizzy:

Skipsan :kilroy:

:pop4: But before I can post the dp's I'll need TR and company's permission :USA-flag:

Collin
December 9th, 2009, 10:37
Thanks for asking Skipsan,

The fella you want is really TR, he hangs out at the simviation cfs2 forum now.

http://205.252.250.26/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1260119550

Though on a personal level I would like to see a dp file that didn't have such accurate guns, and with a lot more flak and tracer.

December 9th, 2009, 15:04
Thank you very much Collin. Ill drop TR a line and see what he has to say :wiggle: I'll also work on the flak for you :salute:

By-the-by Collin your Flt Aux does have a striking resemblance to the early AOG's. The forward gun's need to be in a center line arrangement other then that I'd say she is spot on :jump:

Thank you for all the hard work :applause::applause::applause:
