modifying missions

Can missions be modifying an xml ? See the OZ forum for more detail..

They can, but it takes more care than using the mission builder. If you're changing aircraft, ships, vehicles or facilities, you have to make sure you use the right name which is the name of the model file. I use the find + replace tool in the edit function in notepad for this. You can also change loadouts and details hear to, but you have to get every thing right, no extra characters or spaces or alternatively losing a character or spaces.

Saying all that you can do somethings better. For example if I need to precisely place a facility you can enter the co-ords directly rather than trying with the mouse in MB.

Enter a a/c, production date the same as the typhoon. Make yourself at 36 years old.Snap on Purchase new a/c and there is the tempest.
