Back on the forth I ran into a gentlman who is a pilot and as we were sharing stories. he talked about how him and a group of other pilots would fly into different ariports and hang out. He said his favorite was the Bremerton airport here in washington becasue they had a diner that served fish and chips and they were the best in washington! So today I told my wife and daughter that Dad wanted to try these fish and chips but most important eat and be entertained with watching the planes. So I got my wish. It was a great time just sitting there snacking away while planes where pulling in and out. THe fish and chips (I had the halibut) were very good. Thought I would share and if your a pilot...a good place for you to stop and have breakfast, lunch or dinner. http://www.avianflight.com/aboutus/diner.php

That's where I got my commercial and instrument ratings, though the very nice diner came along later.

I spent alot of time at Mark's virtual Bremerton in FS9. Your link reminded me of what a cool airport it is, hope to see an FSX version of it one day.

I was going through avsim last night to see if there was anything for FSX and ran into Mark's virtual Bremerton as you said for FS9. It was very cool. So one will hope that this airport will be selected again for the virtual world of FSX. This airport would be a bonus becasue one of the runways was turned into a raceway...perfect for those sim racecar fans!!!!

T....my wife was ready to sign me up right there for lessons, I love my wife!!!! But I am a logical fella and said many other bills have to be paid before I can afford the flying world. Happy that she will support if and when I go for the real thing.
