Foggy is the name of the game in downtown Dallas right now. It is dead outside and the fog is just making everything more quiet.

Decided to see what kind of conditions REX 2.0 could give me...

Took off in a Cub.. runway 13R headed for downtown... got in the sim and I could see downtown.. huh?!? The REX kicked in stating that it would load the weather slowly... all of a sudden... bye bye downtown. LOL!

So took off and followed the 35 around to the 30 south of downtown then turned north on the 45 to the 75 on the east side of downtown and looped back over to Love headed for 31R... well in the midst of taking pics of downtown in fog... upped my air traffic to full and then talked to Love Tower requesting permission to land.... they said denied... tried Addison too!

Both closed for IFR only... uhhhh... well nice thing about FS... I cut in front of a Orbits jet coming in on 31R.. I landed on the taxiway. :monkies:

only in FS of course.. IRL... someone would have bounced me before I could get the plane to the ramp.

Besides... I left him the whole runway... I just took a little of the taxiway for my landing.:icon_lol:

Yea, same up here in Sherman. It's been misting and then raining off an on all day and we're supposed to get more overnight and then again tomorrow. I was down in Corsicana over the weekend and it rained off and on Saturday on the way down and then all day Sunday into Sunday evening. I didn't clear out of the rain til I got up around McKinney.

I did a bit of flying out of Grayson County Airport earlier Crashaz and I only flew out to Lake Texoma and back and had to use the ILS, cause I couldn't see anything, lol.
