i can finally admit that i don't really like flying the helis too much.
i started out trying to land at all 35 delaware airfields to get the visit/reward flag for my home state, with a heli. i got through about 20 or so, and i just couldn't stand it anymore and switched to using the small planes that i never fly, like the white cub, the school bus painted dc-3, and a couple of livery of the 172. i finally got it finished.

now i can begin a round the world trip in the kodiak. i did it last year in the (mostly) carenado 206 stationare. that was all vfr. this time i want to do all ifr, and collect the reward for hitting all the capitals listed for each country.
it's going to take a long time. i've been having fun with the visit reward package, i wonder who else might be using it also?

ME! :wiggle:

I am slowly collecting 'countries' (i.e every airfield in a country) which of course means I also pick up all the related regions and the military rewards too.

i have considered doing that with africa or s. america. i am sorely tempted to do the antartic first, because it has so few airports. *sigh* if only the kodiak had skis. maybe i could just use the floater.

I didn't know about that. Did you download that reward or is it stock?

for arctic with Kodiak. On final approach cut the engine and glide down to TD. At time of TD be at or near stall. I do it all the time on both poles. Good Luck.

Check out this page for info/downloads.....

http://www.fs-shipyards.org/index.ph...n_view&idev=26 (http://www.fs-shipyards.org/index.php?ind=downloads&op=section_view&idev=26)

You will need all 10 downloads (2x starter pack, 8x updates).

The nice thing is that it will recognize all the places you have already been to so you don't have to go back and revisit places.

i have hardly any so far. i'll have to look and see.

*** edit: ok, this is what i have, most of them are the easiest ones, of course. however, i could have sworn there was a master list by country somewhere that gives you the call letters you must visit for the capitals of all the countries on a round the world trip. i can't find it anywhere. i may just end up doing something by continent instead, for now.
