Hi Rex,

I'am not a specialist. You can find them here: http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?showforum=99

What is exactly your question? It's difficult for the specialists to answer your question if you don't describe the problems yuo meet.

You can get an indication that the spawn selector is working correcttly by cycling through the different settings and then checking
the state of the air.spawns file.
As an example, when you select the stock spawn mode the "air.stock" file is renamed to "air.spawns" so if you were to look in the
spawns folder you will NOT see an air.stock file.
Following are the state of the air file for the different spawn selections.

1. STOCK SPAWN MODE = No air.stock
2. RANDOM SPAWN DISABLE - No air.noair
3. ALLIED SIDE ETO CAMPAIGN - no air.ETOal
4. AXIS SIDE ETO CAMPAIGN - no air.ETOax
5. ALLIED SIDE ATTACK IN THE WEST CAMPAIGN - no air.A40al
6. AXIS SIDE ATTACK IN THE WEST CAMPAIGN - no air.A40ax
7. ALLIED SIDE PHONEY WAR CAMPAIGN - no air.Pwal
8. AXIS SIDE PHONEY WAR CAMPAIGN - no air.Pwax

If you have all the above files plus an air.spawns file then your spawns are corrupted and you need to reload the spawns folder via
the backup program.

You can cycle through the different spawn settings by opening the spawns folder via windows explorer and double clicking on the
ETOspawnselector.bat file, make you selection and then check the air file status. Do not double click on the individual or slave
spawn bat.files.

It has always said 'a dupilcate file exists, or the file cannot be found', when I pause it just to see what is going on.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that in the guide it says 'If you start the sim without changing the swappers to your computers install path you will corrupt your era files.'

But I just left it set to the default path as I let it install to its default location. Upon closer inspection it look okee dokee to me.
