anyone tried it yet?
Doesn't look too bad. I downloaded it, looked it over and took it up for a flight. The flight model's good and stable. The VC's good, not really that super flash but good enough.
A nice freeware Saab with a VC for those who want something like this commuter aircraft for short sector flights in FS, as an alternative to other freeware Saabs that don't have a VC.

I'll have to have a look-see later today!

Wow! Great video! :applause:

After seeing the vid of the 340B being run through her paces, I've got to pick this one up and give her a run myself.

Thanks for the HU! Nice video too. :ernae:
I think this model would look great with some Northwest Airlink repaints.

I flew an IFR flight from Edinburgh to Sumburgh in the Shetland Islands last night, this is a really nice addon at my favourite price! :applause:

Just a quick heads up for all - an updated version of this Saab 340B is now available at the PAD website and now includes a Northwest Airlink repaint.

Yeah, PAD always delivers a no-nonsense aircraft model, always a pleasure.
And, a nice little Air Nelson paint in V2, seen here at Ian Warren's NZNS

YES! And it's the old NWAirlink scheme too.
DLing now to add to my hanger.
I'm sure I'll keep Mike Stone's 340 for my AI Saab but now I've got a VC to fly.

Very nice addition. I see lots of these buzzing in and out of the local airports. Working on a CFG update to take care of the ground bounce and making it a bit less stiff in the air.

OK here's what I done did for this great plane. Back up the original as usual then copy and paste over only the parts given below since some are only partial CFG sections. I think the flight dynamics are more realistic and the plane doesn't bounce on braking. At least mine did. I relied in part on the check list included with the original download. I'll take any feedback.
