Spent alot of time on Diego and thats defiantly not the airbase .Sure looks alot like Johnston Atoll, south of Hawaii to me though. Spent a few weeks there as well 10 years ago and the picture has a very simalar layout as i remember it

Googled the name on the pic and followed the path home, nothing fancy :d

Gonna go flying from ther in a moment if it's in FS9. Gonna have to look for some better Diego Garcia scenery though, stock sucketh!!

Stock Johnston Atol sucketh just as much as Diego Garcia, lol. Bar the Learjet AI and the big tanks are a good idea.

Thanks trans, downloaded that. I think I like the airbase barren for WW II shots. I use Johnson Atoll a lot for screens of Pacific Theater aircraft.

Could that be one of the airfields in Lake Erie, near the western end of the lake? I know there are some small islands with airfields there.

A big atta-boy for Pete. Cripes, I thought this might at least take more than two guesses. Sky Harbor is one of my favourite strips, as it has a fairly usable float plane beaching area too.
