Not sure but I am looking forward to the paint kit for it. I'm sure we'll see some photo paints...I would hope from folks like Bananabob

I just had a chance to really play with this Yak. Already I'm in love with this thing. It's the Yak-52 I've always been wishing for. Flies like a dream, sounds are great, modelling is great, beautiful textures (and paint kit to come, with MANY opportunities for painting).

This is just my own personal opinion, mind you, but I can really see this little Yak quickly becoming a daily flier for me. Money well-spent in my book.

Now to wait for that paint kit, this thing is crying for a Romanian paint. And maybe something with a JA-tail number, just for me. :icon_lol:

It's the Kiwi paints I'm hoping for - I'd hate to start painting something that was already in the works!
There is a sizable fleet of Yak/Nanchang in New Zealand.

They did, but majority civilian Yaks with made-up paint jobs. They're pretty, and I'll paint some eventually, but I'm more interest in authentic military Yaks. They do have some nice shots of Romanian AF birds, and lots of ROSTO and DOSAAF ones, so that will keep me busy. :mixedsmi:
