I recently downloaded for the FSX files.
"Grumman_goose.zip" and "Maule_air_&_panel_files.zip"
after installation I have blank gauges showing in plane ( virtual cockpit)
I have a full install of the gold version of FSX.
Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? I have installed FSUIPC 4
Thanks for any help offered. Back after a long time away, new system thought I would try FSX and see how it goes. I like the way it looks and runs on my system but 2004 was not so bad I'm thinking. If this is the wrong forum please let me know. Bill Thayer

If i'm not mistaken FSX Gold includes the Deluxe edition of FSX rather than the Standard edition.
If so you shouldnt need those files as the Goose and Maule should work straight out of the box.
Those files are meant for people that only have the Standard edition of FSX which only includes the Goose and Maule as AI models.

You didnt backup the files before installing.
Theres your first lesson in tweeking FSX, always backup before changing anything.

You could try a repair, it shouldnt hurt anything to try. I've never tried the repair option myself due to first lesson but I belive its got others here out of problems before so go for it.

If it dousnt work a request here will usually get you the files needed to fix it manually if there not too big.
