Last night I watched Werner Herzog's amazing Encounters at the End of the World (2007). Afterwards I started to ponder on the lack of scenery addon's for Antarctica. It's not surprising really. After all it's not exactly the best place in the world for VFR flying (at least not the way FSX has modeled it).

In my search for some scenery I was only able to find three small package's.

Antarctica Airport Upgrades (Avsim)
Wilkins Aerodrome (Flightsim.com)
McMurdo Ice Station (Flightsim.com)

I was just wondering if anyone know's of any other scenery addons for Antarctica, or even if they have successfully imported any FS9 packages?

Wow! Thanks Pekka. I was completely unaware of this package. At last someone has decided to make a quality (being Aerosoft there's little doubt of this) addon for Antarctica. Lets hope the project progresses faster than a glacier. :running:
