Yeah, but I remember the when I had to clean install XP. Same thing with a clean win 7 install: install all aps, copy data, download and apply patches. Something like 20-50 reboots in there too! Still took 12-16 hours to get everything back "the way it was". The clean install is going to take a while too.

The install --
and then adding back all the software.

Couple of new systems back --
spent the weekend adding back most of the software --
and the next day the new disk crashed.

Went faster the second time.
