I'd like to think he's not. I don't see a streamer hangin' from it, but it sure is in the right vicinity for it to be the pitot cover. Oh man!!

I was wondering about that too. He might be testing the backup pitot on the right wing though. Luckily she has two of them. :)

Glad you got your PC woes sorted.

I think the real pic depicts the L-39 undergoing high speed taxi tests after an overhaul but I might be wrong.

Hey we have one like this in our hangar only it's kind of a ruby red instead of blue. We call it "Dorothy".
