I was hunting for rare or little known helicopters (or fixed wing too) for FS and couldn't for the life of me find one from You Only Live Twice. No, not Little Nellie (have that one in a cage) but the one in which Bond was flown to meet Mr. Osato, and later flew into the crater. Couldn't find a real one either because I don't know the manufacturer or name. Anybody know the one I'm talking about? Any other good ideas for funky little fliers?

You might be talking about the Brantly B-2. Lasse Lindh did a very nice one for FS9 but he's not involved in FS any longer. Not sure where you'd find it now.

This is very cool, two-for-one today. Not only is the Brantly what I was thinking of, I also get directed to the very neat Swede site. Can't thank you folks enough :applause:

That thing... has got to be the funnest freeware plane (to fly at least) by far. However, I am going to re-download it... and work out some kind of .cfg fix to stop that annoying "bouncing" when taxiing.

It DL'd fine and I am working on the cfg now. It flew a bit heavy and sat a bit off. This is one of those that has an odd model 0,0,0 point, somewhere beyond the rear end of the skids so it rotates on the Z axis a bit too far aft, to my eyes anyway. Got the Bell 47J too. Been wanting that one for ages. I'll have to scrape up a little thank you for Swede.

PS what's a cri-cri?

Ah, thank you, I guess I needed my microscope to see that one. That engine close up-I half expected a coin to come into the shot to show actual size!
Reminds me of a post here about yet another car-plane made by Honda or some such. Looked like a WIG type thing that didn't need folding wings. Other that a bubble canopy I can't recall much else other than it hadn't flown on video yet.
