Twittering.....heck no! IMHO, Twitter, My Space, Face Book and other sites like them are for morons, losers, and pedophiles.

I, am however, a hillbilly who happens to speak a lot less clearly than he types....but occassionally, I try to type like I talk.

I just got the 'wild hair' to do a couple of new skins for the He115 & have discovered that the .2AF texture is fubared, most likely in an attempt to control that heinous swastika. Does anyone have a legitimate copy of that file? I would just D/L the FS version but of course, the link is bad :kilroy:.

BTW: I had forgotten about Payakan's FS2004 He 115. It is much more detailed, gives good FRs on my PC & converts nicely with only one glitch: The port prop refuses to spin. I am using the Alpha He115 airfile & it does have settings for 2 engines but no-joy.

Give me a few minutes to dig through my disks...I think I converted the HS-115 to use BMP style texture files instead of the AF crappy ones.

I DID! I DID! Will zip up a copy of it and upload it. Complete with a panel that I did up for it. I think I might even have most of a repaint template done for the plane as well...will dig around and see.

Being uploaded to the CFS2 AIrcraft/German library now. Will be available as soon as the staff approves it and moves it into the download section. You need to download the original AlphaOldies version of the plane to get the weapons files and my original panel upload to get the gauges.

But I had almost decided to go with the Payakan bird instead! ;) (If the prop animation is fixable). But I still would like the texture files for the Alpha version.
Thanks!!

So that is what they were talking at Wright Pat. Now I know why I never understood the directives from the Air Logistics Command.:bump::bump:

Discus, thanks for the soundfiles.

Thanks go to Obio and Lawdog for his work in the sound file!!!:applause: They, and many others, are the oneīs that keep alive and constantly growing this great sim. Even to some people that arenīt "flying" any more, from whoīs work other made upgrades that nowadays we can enjoy. I only gave you the link.

Some day in the near future we will be able to get down of the digital planes and go to a bar to have a beer, coffe or what ever people like, all in a digital world ranging form 1899 to 2009. May be even from the Leonardo da Vinci time! But for me that would be too much. Once down from the digital cockpit I prefer the real thing.

Cheers

Discus, I have spend 100's of dollars on all kinds of sims and enjoy them for a little while and then I am back at CFS2 again. And it is the community that has made CFS2 probably the greatest flightsim ever.:ernae:

BTW, tomorrow I am going to get my right thumb operated on to get rid of calcification in the joints. This will mean that my right hand is going to be in a cast for two months, to be followed by three months of physical therapy. So no flying for two months. Getting old is a b*tch, but when I consider the alternative, it is not so bad.:icon_lol:

surgery was a success. i type now with my left index finger, no caps or anythin else fancy. i started out on tylenol 3, by after 24 hours had to switch over to percoset. that really took the edge off and since then, friday, i have been floating about 3 feet off the ground..... tomorrow, i'll see if i can discontinue that stuff. in the meantime, i'll enjoy it as much as possible.:bump::bump::isadizzy:
