Hi all
From which altitude did the Kates attack the battleship row at Pearl Harbor? I think that perforant bombs need a minimun altitude to penetrate the armor of a battleship.

They attacked from 10,000 to 15,000 ft.They also used converted Battleship armor piercing shells.

Trasno, a quote from Midway: The Battle That Doomed Japan by Mitsuo Fuchida and Masatake Okumiya, "12 level bombers concentrated on an air strip on Eastern Island with 800-kilogram bombs dropped from an altitude of 3,500 meters." I hope this helps.

I want to fix a bomb scope for a Kate, for a fixed speed and altitude. That is the reason I ask for the "normal" bombing altitude for a Kate.
