Terminator Salvation, Panther. The warthog gets it's day in the (post-apocalyptic) sun. We didn't get our wish to see Rachel McLish as a terminator, though.

Of course it's a great shot - that's because I didn't take it; it's a USAF photo.....:icon_lol:

Is that one of the A-10s at Barksdale?

jmig,
I don't think so....Barksdale A-10's have the "Hog Jaws" nose (identifiable by the 2 large fangs on the bottom of the jaw) whereas this one has the traditional "Shark Mouth"

(Note the "Hog Jaws" nose paint in the attachment below)

ROTFLMAO @ the HOG Jaw!

Sounds like Arkansas A-10s

i think the A-10 in the picture Panther posted is either 74th or 75th FS..23rd Fighter Group....the Flying Tigers.

917th Wing 47th FS A-10's at Barksdale have the 'Hog tusks' on em.

the 47th FS is also the same squadron that shot down 8 Japanese aircraft on Dec. 7, 1941.

All the 47th (aka Dogpatchers) A-10's i've ever seen or photographed have the hog tusks on the nose and one of the dogpatch charcters on the port side of the fuselage.

found this on the Moody AFB website factsheet for the 23rd FG.....

Leading the way into the Future
The 23rd recently reached another milestone. A 75th Fighter Squadron A-10 passed the 9000 flying-hour mark becoming the most traveled fighter aircraft in Air Force history.
