Bushmasters was the nickname of the 78th FS/15th FG, and they adopted one as their logo.
They had their training in 1944 on Hawaii, flying P-47's, before converting to P-51's and moving to Saipan and later Iwo Jima.
I've painted a few of their P-51's earlier (here's one: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.php?lloc=downloads&loc=downloads&page=info&FileID=10477), but here's a repaint of the aircraft flown in Hawaii by the CO, Major James van de Hey:
