Just to let you know there are a couple of new screenshots of the Super Cub up on the site. To save your fingers the trouble, I'll post 'em here now, as well. :)

There a bit more explaination in the pic captions on the site itself.

Any chance we could get a 3-D RXP GNS430W in that empty spot? ;)

Realair, you have forever spoiled me with that... :mixedsmi:

That "empty spot" is my chart box, holding appropriate charts and the ever valuable "Alaska Suppliment". My Garmin 495 attaches to some velcro on the glare shield on the right side. Few cub drivers install GPS in the panel due to the cost and plethora of FAA paperwork involved in making it part of the aircraft. Also allows me to use the unit in my car or drag it over to my friends 180 when I fly it.

Flew down around Mt McKinley on Thursday for photos, should have it back on floats next week for some wilderness explorations.

Cheers: T.

Here you go, it now has an identity. :)

Time now to start work on the struts and spinner and flap hinges, and get to work with bump map and screws and inspection plates on the fuselage....

No shortage of tough Super Cubs. Here are the versions with 31" and 35" tires, plus all sorts of other modifications and goodies. The 31" version (the one with the large spinner) is pretty common in Alaska and will be coming with amphib floats as well, while the 35" is for you to practice your most insane STOL activities. :)

Looks just like those in the videos of STOL competitions! Lots of power on a light aircraft = FUN, lol! All you need is a 10 foot runway. :applause::applause::applause:

Sheesh, I'm going to have to go out and actually get a license and buy the real thing :) Great modeling, especially the tires.
