Hi Folks,

Just to let you know that I've decided to take a break from skinning now that I've done the MacRobert set. My wife and I are preparing our house for sale, so that we can emigrate to our farm in Nova Scotia (watch out mariereid, here we come (eventually)), so between working and DIY, I'm going to be a bit short of time. I plan to keep up with the times and look in on SOH on a regular basis and may even find time to upload the odd (or very odd!) thing every now and then, but it may be 6 months or so before I have any spare time. I would also like to get to grips with FSDS and learn to build aircraft eventually.

So good hunting to you all and hopefully I'll be back towards the end of autumn.

Cheers,

PomBee.:ernae:

As you know, things are a little slower here. Do they even have the internet down there? Most folks think it`s some kind of fishin`device.

Our friends and future neighbours tell us that Annapolis County is like the 1950's with all the mod cons. Believe it or not, we had actual BROADBAND installed at the farm last month!! We're out again in the summer for 3 weeks, so we hope to get some other stuff done (plus the drinking and eating to excess thing).
It could be a while before we're out full-time, but we're working on it.

Cheers,

PomBee. :guinness: :icon29: :guinness: :icon29: :ernae:

Thanks for the best wishes. I doubt that we'll be abandoning ship before next summer, but the work on the house needs to be done so that we can sell it in the new year and then rent somewhere until we go, which means using all available spare time from now until, probably, christmas. We have some possibilities in the pipeline which might mean we can go earlier, but I'm not counting my chickens at this point.

Cheers,
