Here's what I get when starting CFS 3 (happens with or without patches):

Event Type: Information
Event Source: Application Popup
Event Category: None
Event ID: 26
Date: 6/8/2009
Time: 10:06:07 AM
User: N/A
Computer: COMPUTER1
Description:
Application popup: Windows - No Disk : Exception Processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp).

I disabled the card readers in the Device Manager (right click “manage” on “my computer” icon), and the error went away. And verified that c: is my boot drive.

Any ideas on how I can have my card readers enabled, but not get the error?

Thanks

do you have a no cd crack?
might help
here is one for after the 3.1 and 3.1a updates
Maybe it will startup now
download and replace the old one with it, make sure u first rename the old exe file different eg:cfs3a.exe and then put in this one, i hope it helps
apperently the file is too big for me to upload to outhouse, otherwise pm me with your email and i send it to you
