Just for fun. I make these from time to time, but I usually share them at other websites. This time I figured I'd bring these here, because I'm especially proud of them. These are all unedited.

Here goes, I hope you guys enjoy them. This is part 1, part 2 will come later if anyone enjoys these:

From time to time, The Swiss make their way to the world's leading experts on hornets, the prestigious instructors of the Naval Fighter Weapons School at Fallon NAS, Nevada. They have huge chunks of Nevada to play with, and the exercises are on a grand scale.

The exercise begins with the students not knowing where the instructors are, but committed to maintaining air superiority over a block of land where an imaginary ground war is occuring.

The Swiss students are still flying the designated combat air patrol while their wily instructors sneak into the battlespace using the topography to their advantage.

One faint target is appearing and dissapearing with the terrain on radar, and our students fly a tactical formation closer. Unbeknowst to them, it's two instructors flying adversarial aircraft almost on top of each other.

A merge is all but guaranteed for our Swiss pilots. Stay tuned for more!!

Thanks for the kind comments, guys. I spent hours making this, and it went off with little interest over at flightism.com. One the other hand, I hit 'v' a few random times while flying a cropdusting mission, and that thread is now on page two over there. Go figure!!:icon_lol:

Nice story, especially since I'm reading "Red Eagles: America's Secret MiGs" at the moment, which is about the USAF employing real MiGs in FWS training.

A really good read and (almost) totally for free!
