Hi All,

After much procrastination I am wanting to purchase the skysim mirage. Regrettably, I am stymied (and admittedly easily confused). I see there are two options: one version is for European languages and another for something called I.E., yet the descriptions seem to be the same. Is there a difference between them and if so, what might that be? It would be just like me to buy the wrong one.

It sounds like a lovely plane and I look forward to it. I don't usually do jets so this is quite a step for me!

Cheers,
MT

Hi. There is no difference at all between the end result of the two versions. One is a zip file that contains the executable installer. The other is the straight installer (unzipped). It all had to do with Firefox dropping the file name extension when it was downloaded. A big pain at the time. In any case the download is free so if one doesn't download correctly for you "buy" the other -- again a free download. You don't pay until you actually go to install it.

Hope this helps. It's a great package. I fly it all the time.
