Problems with New Internet Explorer

ETA: I didn't notice the other IE8 issue thread until now so I am moving over to it.

I ran an internet explorer update last week and now for some reason webpages will not load after I have a few tabs open. Say I’ve got 3 pages loaded in different tabs and when I click on a link a new window opens and the link will never load. Other times I will click on a new tab and the page will never load. When this happens I jump over to firefox and it loads them instantly no matter how many tabs I have open in it. Anyone experiencing this?

Get Firefox. Less spybots and other problems.

I've been using both for a long time, and as stated the problem doesn't exist in firefox. I often use both to check website functionality and to better organize.
