Having read a book on the women pilots of WW2, the WASPs were certainly treated worse than their British Air Transport Auxiliary counterparts.

This recognition is long overdue.

the thing i wonder about is, how tough it must have been for them once the war was over. that meant no more flying for most of them, and a return to what women were to society at that time. how hard it must have been to go from delivering mustangs and mitchells to dinner and dishes. it's a wonder there weren't more stabbings.:medals:
